Neurosurgery (UCCK), held a
seminar at TCK. Topics: "Gamma Knife
Radio surgery", "Surgical Treatment of
Movement Disorders", "New Techniques in

participants of telemedicine
program. It is the first lecture in
series that will be held weekly.

in Gjakova, Gjilan and Prizren could
interact as well.

2008 Surgery department of UCCK in ccoperation with University Clinic
in Mannheim, Germany successfully
finished the third international
symposium of general surgery.
Surgical interventions as part of
program were transmitted live to the
TCK where participants attended
interactively.

October 8, 2008 Kosova Open Medical Club / American Austrian
Foundation / Open Medical Institute
successfully completed a seminar: "Neuroradiology
and interventional therapy
procedures in neuroradiology". The
seminar opening ceremony was held in
Grand Hotel Prishtina. The other two
days of seminar were conducted at
the Telemedicine Centre of Kosova.
Clinical staff of regional hospital
of Gjakova could attend the seminar
through a live videoconference link.

April 24, 2008 Kosovar Association for Gastrointestinal
Endoscopy in cooperation with TCK
held a seminar: "Sėmundjet
malinje tė traktit
gastrointestinal". Except
participants in the auditorium,
professionals from three regional
hospitals: Gjakova, Gjilan and
Skenderaj participated through a
live multi-videoconference run by
Telemedicine IT department.
