International Health Alliance (AIHA) supported by USAID in
Kosovo held a workshop with participants of MASHAV supported
training program covering pediatric updates. In this event was
done the distribution of certificates to the participants of
this program.

and the Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona are
pleased to announce the award from the United States Agency for
International Development (USAID) to establish Albania’s first
National Telemedicine Center.

2009 The 4th International Symposium of General Surgery.
This symposium was held in Prishtina
All surgical
operations (6) were trasmitted live from the operating theatres
of Surgery Clinic in Prishtina into the auditorium of TCK. This
connection offered the possibillity of participants to ask
questions related to ongoing surgery through a moderator.
These operations
were lead by german surgeons from the Clinic of Mannheim,
Germany: Prof. Dr. med. Stefan Post, Prof. Dr. med. Peter Kienle,
Prof. Dr. med. Marko Niedergethman. In the sperate teams local
surgeons have assited also: Faton Hoxha surgeon, Sabri Tmava
surgeon etc.
